ABOUT US

We are a small group of friends and colleagues from London who, on hearing the news of the impending demolition of the Jungle, are looking to help in any way we can. We understand that many people feel powerless to help when faced with complex situations such as these - we wanted to provide a really simple way for people to take action by doing something small - hence our name, One Small Something.

Danielle and Tayler both spent time in the camp and at the Help Refugees warehouse earlier this year, giving us an insight into how we can use our time, skills and resources most effectively to support the efforts of existing organisations working in Calais.

The list of six items we’re collecting has been communicated directly from those who are coordinating aid on the ground. You can be sure that these are the things most urgently needed right now and in the months ahead, as the threats of camp demolition and winter loom.

Everyone involved is giving their time and skills on a voluntary basis. As detailed on the purchase page, all money donated will be spent on the purchasing and transportation of supplies.
